Using the information from the do now as a guide, choose one of the following activities in order to summarize chapter one:
1. Write a summary of chapter one emphasizing the most important information. Type your summary into the program Worldle.net. Use the word cloud that is created to tell the class about chapter one.
2. Go to www.voki.com. Create a character that you believe resembles Lazarillo. Assume the character of Lazarillo, and record what happened in chapter one in your own words.
3. Using the program Garageband, create a song or rap that summarizes chapter one.
4. Use www.toondoo.com in order to retell chapter one in the form of a comic strip. Be sure to include dialogue between the characters and narration if necessary.
These activities will be presented to the class.
They will be graded with a rubric.
